This is the story of two creative individuals, Maria, a director, and Natalya, a screenwriter, who set out to make a film about a historical reenactment club for wheelchair users. Both film school graduates, they dream of putting their skills to the test. However, they struggle with a major plot challenge – giving the club members a compelling goal, such as participating in a festival. But the reenactors are content simply engaging in battles with their swords, with no interest in formal events.
Maria and Natalya’s efforts to elevate the story with a grand objective continually fall flat – either the costumes aren’t historically accurate enough, the chosen era is incorrect, or there isn't enough rehearsal. Just when everything finally seems to fall into place, the festival is canceled. It feels like they just can’t catch a break! Will Maria and Natalya ever get to shout the long-awaited «Lights! Camera! Action!» on set?
