Ruslan Gusarov is a journalist, war correspondent, documentary filmmaker, and public figure. He is also a member of the Council for Interethnic Relations under the President of the Russian Federation.As a reporter for NTV, he covered conflict zones in the North Caucasus and the Middle East. His reporting includes the Chechen campaigns, the invasion of international terrorists in Dagestan, the counterterrorism operations in the North Caucasus, the Beslan school tragedy, the Georgian–Ossetian conflict, riots and clashes in the West Bank, the Golan Heights, the military operation «»Pillar of Defense«» in Gaza, the Arab Spring and its aftermath in Egypt and Turkey, among other major events.Since 2022, Ruslan has been with the Documentary Broadcasting department at RT.
