«If they see you and realise we're journalists... They'll hit us with everything they've got, so no unnecessary heroism: we go in quickly, film, do our work, talk to the guys, and leave as fast as possible,» says Sargon Hadaya who is half Russian, half Syrian. He became a war correspondent to shed light on military conflicts in Syria and Donbass. The war correspondent finds himself in the midst of hell: in the phosphorus-burned forests of Kremennoy, in a combat helicopter above Bakhmut, and during the attacks of paratroopers in Svatovo. He openly admits that this kind of job isn’t enjoyable, but it’s necessary.
