The latest guest to appear on the «Sanchez Effect» is Iran’s Ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali. Their conversation in Moscow covered the causes of the U.S. and Israeli war against his country, Washington’s false statements and the Iranian people’s confidence in victory. He describes White House claims that Iran itself has proposed negotiations and that a deal is nearly in place as, a «complete fabrication».
He maintains that, Trump’s public remarks are no more than an attempt to divide Iranian society and generate media noise. Yet Tehran has not ruled out the possibility of talks. That though could only happen if certain conditions are met: lasting peace in the region, compensation for the damage caused, the lifting of all sanctions against Iran and recognition of the nation’s right to peaceful nuclear energy.
How do other countries in the region support Iran amid the conflict? How has the Iranian nation united against aggression? And could this war ultimately reshape unipolar world order?
