With COVID-19, safe really is better than sorry. Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 could become seriously ill and require medical attention. The following are the stories of four COVID-19 survivors from Spain, Russia, UK and the US. These patients don't fall into the typical coronavirus high-risk category. Still, they ended up falling ill, suffering physically and going through a whirlwind of emotions. Their symptoms and experiences may be different, but they have all been traumatized in their own way.
