Since 2014 many women have volunteered to join the Donbass militia. On the front lines and in hospitals they work with no days off. Anna used to work as a flight attendant and in the Ukrainian Embassy in Jordan. But when the special operation began, she volunteered as a soldier of the Donetsk Republic’s Army to protect her homeland. Anna became a deputy company leader of a rifle battalion. Anna encourages men to fight and refuses to leave the army until her homeland is safe.
