Sanctions against Russian energy sources resulted in a tremendous price hike. People in Europe cannot afford to heat their homes as their bills have more than tripled. Some have even left the cities and moved to country houses where they can use firewood for heating. At the same time, gas prices affect other industries, like fertilizer production. Farmers whose families have owned their land for generations now face growing debts and must sell their land. How can ordinary Europeans cope with this crisis?
