Drug dealers in South America are called narco for short. Mexican drug cartels are particularly cruel, they use any means to achieve their goals — from torture to human trafficking and mass murder. A continuous war is being waged for control of plantations and supply routes. The whole of Kulyakan is dotted with crosses — these are the graves of people who died during street shootings. But ordinary people are accustomed to such showdowns. Moreover, there is a whole branch of show business here, ‘narco corridos’, ballads that glorify the kingpins and their henchmen.
