Many of the ‘Crimea’ Battalion fighters didn't envision a military career. However, a hostile Ukrainian coup d'état in 2014 made them take up arms to fight against the Ukrainian nationalists. They showcased how they accomplish assigned tasks and provided a glimpse into their daily routines. These warriors are dreaming of the day that they’ll get to be with their families again and live a peaceful life. Only once in a while do they get the opportunity to have a phone call with their loved ones, as talking loudly and for a long time is also dangerous. Sometimes, the only words they manage to say to their families on the phone is «I love you».
