Zosima, credited as a seer, is often dubbed the Donbass prophet and a modern-day saint. As early as the '80s, he remarkably predicted war in Ukraine, the resurgence of Ukrainian fascism, and the severity of the church schism there. «When I pass away,» he insisted, «bury me deep, so the Bandera followers won't dig me up.» Thanks to his efforts, the St. Nicholas and Basil Monastery of Dormition was built. The temple now stands in the line of fire from Ukrainian forces, but the clerics valiantly keep their services going, despite the risk to their lives.
