Benjamin Forster was born near Zurich, Switzerland. Since childhood, he has been fascinated by Russian culture. When a family of Russian refugees moved into their village, Benjamin began learning Russian. In 2010, he made the life-changing decision to move from Zurich to Pereslavl-Zalessky. Now, Benjamin runs his own beekeeping enterprise and has a Russian family. Since relocating, he has been dispelling myths about the country and immersing himself in the local culture. Benjamin has also become a part of the local Cossack community, where he learned their indigenous traditions and joined sword-dancing as well as sword-cutting competitions.
