Here and Now
Succinct news coverage of the special military operation that one gets on TV or social media, doesn’t even begin to tell the stories of people whose lives were uprooted by the hostilities, those who volunteered to defend their homeland on the frontlines, those who made it their mission to report from the trenches or to bring aid to those in need. These people are the true heroes of our time.
A new RTD documentary series «They Are Heroes: Here and Now» is dedicated to such heroes who live among us. Several generations of Soviet and Russian children grew up looking up to the deeds of their fathers and grandfathers who fought in the Second World War. The new generation should be brought up knowing the names of those fighting for freedom in Donbass, thus, they’ll grow up with a clear idea of what kind of values a real patriot must uphold and defend.
