This is a tragicomic documentary with all the elements of a spy thriller. It tells the story of three Russians who organise a secret festival of films banned in Italy, and the wave of hysteria it provokes in the Italian media.
These are films from the front, shown at the ‘Time of Our Heroes’ festival. It had to be held underground because rampant Russophobia is preventing the truth from being told openly. However, Italian ‘truth-partisans’ are standing with their Russian brothers in the fight to get the real story out.
