Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, South Africa, Kenya, Rwanda, and Nigeria already have space programs or plans to develop them, and Russia is playing an important role in this process. Unlike former colonizers, it is seen as a reliable partner. Western countries offer only limited access to their technology without any support or transfer of professional knowledge. In contrast, Russia is ready for equal cooperation, including training specialists and engaging in joint projects.
For Africa, space technologies are tools for developing and addressing issues in areas such as agriculture, communication, and security. Establishing space stations, training astronauts, and participating in the exploration of Mars will give Africa the chance to catch up with other countries in terms of development.
